Lokrum Story concepts 1

This is amongst best the fruit of the last 4 days sketching and writing in the early stages of planning, and its only been this first scene out of many that I have sketched out so far!

(Imp makes it seem too small in my opinion)

 One of two main character called the "Imp" found in the above drawing, more characters will be revealed as scenes are sketched first initially.

Lokrum Isle Story Roughs

A bunch of water color pencil sketches from Lokrum Island, Croatia done back in May for both technical studies and roughs for a picture book concept inspired by the idyllic look of the island itself. More should come from this in the coming weeks.

Something Hairy

My version of the cover for an interesting book about a sideshow thin man, completely redone from my initial failing last winter at trying to create a styling while still making a hoard of lady facial hair look good.

Will continue to play with lighting and texture, but otherwise is done.

A freshly re-cleaned line art for a book cover assignment originally done back in the winter, reskinned for a second attempt. Guess the novel.

Charlie Reference Materials 3: Sample Poses 1

 A few sample poses from the many rough sketches done this past week of Charlie to round off the reference material for him. The end result of these sheets and story development show that his look may further evolve but I'm happy to get a solid starting point. Till next time.
