Summer Camp 2015 Arts

Some cherry picked paintings and doodles from my week in Connecticut to supervise the annual summer camp trip for my local scout troop. Also props to the webcomic Bittersweet Candy Bowl.

More webcomic concept art

Yeh, fanart.

My idea of a snapple drinking skateboarding dragon for a wood carving project celebrating scouting history was turned down for some reason. :(

Blue Eyes Glamour Shot

A quick gouache painting of a certain Yu-Gi-Oh! dragon.

Chipmunk Cleric Concept Drawing

A quick concept pose of a character I made years ago for a watercolor class. I'm thinking of remaking the original watercolor he was in since it was one of my favorites from back in college.

Done using india ink and sable brushes touched up in detailed spots with technical pens

Young Chandra Doodle

Some Magic the Gathering Origins fanart of a young Chandra Nalaar as a quick personal warmup. I got carried away with various layer options.

Riku Fan Art

Breaking my fanart rule for this blog due to the amount of time I wasted playing around with this.

Imp Environment Concept Painting

Cherry picked concept painting for my future webcomic in the making that I have been working on  privately. Played around with colors that won't really represent how it will look in the long run.

Done using watercolor and gouache.

WIP Fan Art

A rough sketch plus a little reference refinement to a painted piece that I will be hammering away at this week.
