She Has a Coat Now

All day designing potential clothing for her and all I finalized was a single coat. It looks nice on her though.

Klondike Derby 2018 Patch Concept

Between shopping, work, and working on this, I can safely say that I have been busy. This is a patch design for my scout district's annual Klondike Derby later this winter.

Aloe with her Hair Down

A better drawing of Aloe with her hair down, marking the end of these reference drawings (for her at least).

Aloe References Rotations

Updated and finalized reference material for my character, Aloe since its been a year since my old ref sheets and I've kinda deviated/ improved since then. The outfit is the only thing not set in stone because obviously, one can just change them. Done in Clip Studio

Grandpa Cattails Inktober?

Not technically Inktober since its older work, but I also completely forgot about months back at my sister's house. This was brain stormed by my imaginative nephew. He is a snapping turtle based imp that lives at the bottom of a muddy pond and uses his long neck to stretch up for air regularly despite hardly ever coming to the shore. Children have the best ideas.

WIP Digital Concept

This is a line work that I have been slowly nursing on and off the last couple months. I plan to  experiment by digitally painting it while keeping the lines visible if possible.

Also a sneak peek on a re-designed character it looks like haha.

Aloe and a few Other Imps

Just a couple sketches from a little while back. Testing out my recent line work style on Aloe finally after all this time. The wheel keeps slowly spinning.

Tons of Imp Sketches

I have been trying to hammer in both individual designs and a cohesive overall style for my imps after slogging taway just at one character for ages. I'm pretty content with the results to be honest, but still a ways still until finished product.
Aloe,
I just have to clean the back of her head at this point. lowering/ lengthening her usual ponytail/ bun thing makes it conflict less with her massive horns.

Sunny
Simplifying his head into a general shape of spikes has made drawing and emoting him tons more fun and flexible. Now for the pain in ass profile view..

Smol
Another good example of less is more in terms of shaving her head of excess design and pushing the extremes of body differences between the main 3.

Now have a ton of Aloes done in the past months that helped get to this point.

Just a quick Height Chart Sketch

Just a quick update to close out April. After polishing these three, I thought it was time to show a direct reference between all three of our main characters.
