Forgot her Clothes

Quick color/ figure study

Aloe Angelica Colors

Kek New brushes

I been experimenting with some new brushes if you couldn't tell.

Aloe color variants

I've lost control of my life.

Yep, more Aloe Moleskine Concepts

A quick watercolor concept from my moleskine of Aloe. I haven't drawn her in actual clothing in ages, huh how about that. Also I switched her hair values from the previous inked sketch of her with her horns just to see the contrast difference.

I keep toying around with doing this series in traditional ultimately, but the level of messiness my scans forces me to spend alot of time cleaning beyond the actual art itself.

This past month has been rather heavy between holiday stuff and larger plans for the future, making my art pace slow by a great degree, but I think it will be worth it.

Glorious Butt

A quick watercolor on hot press paper.

Abstract Growth

Cleaned up watercolor study made on messy paper I wouldn't use for a more complete thing.

Dream

A watercolor concept sketch with my imp character that I've been doodling for years now.

What I'm Working On.

I have several project ideas to finish by the holidays including a commission which I can't reveal yet, so here is a wip on a personal piece that was on hold at the fine sketch phase until recently.

Island Concept WIP 2

More experimenting with this digital environment.

Old Castle Study

An older reference based study based on color shapes more than anything else

The Ogre Quick Water Color

A quick-ish water color done of that ogre character I made back in the spring while at work this past week.

Aunt Norma Version 3

Yeah I kept working on this way past the holidays so it kind of turned into a Birthday gift instead of an Xmas one. Worked on in cmyk but converting the profile into RGB here was surprisingly not eye gouging.

Dear Aunt V2

After sitting on it for awhile, I started working on this personal portrait of my late aunt I started roughly a year ago. Still could be tweaked but its almost time to print it!

Lonely Gutternsipe Progress..

Current work in progress among 3-4 other things I'm working on.

Inktober #2 Dream catcher

Ok I cheated a bit for Inktober by using photoshop for colors but this was more of a thing for a friend that required it.

Capture Critters Fan Art

I been messing around in photoshop and decided to do some stuff based on some of the new Pokemon that have been revealed being a long time fan.

Curious Fox and the Forest Door

Been meaning to post this days ago but time has been escaping me lately. I found out how much I love gessoed surfaces for watercolor and gouache washes, all those years of acrylic didn't shake off it seems.

My one regret isn't trying a more daring form of lighting, but I'm happy with the amount of polish and color I used in the end.

The title and illustration reminds me of an aesop fable.
