Aloe Update

A few Aloe doodles on her relatively updated look. I started giving her face spines that protrude from the sides, but at the moment I'm unsure if they interfere with her contours and certain viewing angles too much.

Aloe the Imp: Flat Inks Concept Piece

After years of constant changes in story, here is an initial ink drawing of my imp character, now named Aloe. She is a bit under dressed to show how imps are generally constructed in build, but Aloe here is also a bit more influenced by human posture a bit more than the fused lizard/ equine/ rodent influences that birthed how imps will look. *Have to keep the main character a bit more relate-able to the reader after all.*

I also did away with visible ears that every piece had up to now because they caused nothing but generic looking goblins and hair design issues. Weird fleshy lizard frills and random horns all the way!

Fun fact: This lone drawing doesn't show it, but she is actually a bit taller than the average imp, because why not.

I will post more about my webcomic here and on tumblr as I finalize more designs.

Quick Alt Design Imp doodle

I'm busy sorting out the setting now that my main character is defined, butttttt here is an alternative design that is a tad too busy, but I like the addition of generic cartoony wings and horns with her KH weird squirrel tail.

Imp Character Design Final Sketches.

Hammered out the qualities of the Imp character thats been littering this account for two years now. Once I get a proper rotation and detail ref sheets done, I'll compile the dozens of images of her evolution as a character as the nature of her story changed.

Finally finished this big digitally painted piece. Estimated around 18+ hours from start to finish.

Inktober 20-21: A Friend and a Goblin

October has gone and past and so is the Inktober pen and ink themed drawing series. Most people I witnessed doing it dropped out weeks ago, so I'm surprised I managed to draw 21 of the 31 days I was free to due to other commitments.

Caricature portrait of a friend

Just a goblin lazing about.

Inktober 16-19: Imps and Fairies. Oh and Some Guy
