Dad Day 2018

Happy dad day like any other ulterior hallmark consumer holiday.

Inktober Break: A Scout

A small portrait request from way earlier this year that I redid for Inktober since I didn't really like the first one I did thats been sitting around a couple months.

Inktober 2017 Day 6: Weird Dream?

Another odd comic, though I kind of repeated the sleeping bit from one of the earlier days.

Inktober 2016 Day 6: Brionne

Day 6, I'm pretty excited for pokemon sun and moon.

Inktober 2016 Day 3: Run Sunny Run

My Imp character Sunny is now going to get a bit more focus now that I'm not agonizing over the main character anymore. He's a courier in the story, but not much else is fleshed out about him though. I don't know if if skeleton dragons will be a thing either haha.

Sunny Boy

Yeah I actually drew another one of these things, one whose design ISN'T a pain to settle on.

Traditional pen and ink touched up a bit digitally.

Summer Gal

Another moleskine sketch done at summer camp last week. I practically destroyed the paper by the face due to constant revisions. Ah well. For personal pieces, never be afraid to get messy.

New Years Post

Scanned some stuff I cleaned and inked the previous couple of days before I head out for the evening. Happy New Years everyone!

Inktober 2015 Days 22-23: Spoopy Child and Puppy

A spooky child and a messy werewolf. Tried something a bit different using white ink.

Inktober 2015: Days 14-15

A couple days of sketches in one lil clump.

Inktober 2015: Days 12-13

Another couple of days worth from my small greyscale sketchbook. I really love day 13.

Inktober 3-4: Janine

Some pokemon fanart for days 3-4 of Inktober! Janine doesn't get enough love as a cute ninja girl.

Aloe the Imp: Flat Inks Concept Piece

After years of constant changes in story, here is an initial ink drawing of my imp character, now named Aloe. She is a bit under dressed to show how imps are generally constructed in build, but Aloe here is also a bit more influenced by human posture a bit more than the fused lizard/ equine/ rodent influences that birthed how imps will look. *Have to keep the main character a bit more relate-able to the reader after all.*

I also did away with visible ears that every piece had up to now because they caused nothing but generic looking goblins and hair design issues. Weird fleshy lizard frills and random horns all the way!

Fun fact: This lone drawing doesn't show it, but she is actually a bit taller than the average imp, because why not.

I will post more about my webcomic here and on tumblr as I finalize more designs.

Hey more Imps

A couple quick sketches as I work on some larger stuff in the background.

Poison Type

Finished this poison type poster I have been working on for a week. The scan was kind of iffy, so I may go back to clean a higher quality version in the near future.

More Imp sketches

Have lots of older stuff that has been sitting around. Her final look is pretty much set at this point.

Portrait Doodle

Random work doodle from a big batch of sketches done based on friends' pics that I polished via inking.

Quick Alt Design Imp doodle

I'm busy sorting out the setting now that my main character is defined, butttttt here is an alternative design that is a tad too busy, but I like the addition of generic cartoony wings and horns with her KH weird squirrel tail.

Inktober #10-11

The month has passed, but I'll upload more stuff from Inktober that I particularly like.

Inktober Sketches 5-9

Last 5 days worth of Inktober sketches, themed around combining my imp character with a couple animal like forms. A couple were put together because of being drawn within the same day.
