Croatian Fieldwork 1: Island of Lokrum Painting

This will be the first in a series of painting and drawings first done this past spring during my study abroad in Dubrovnik, Croatia. All of them will be lightly touched up traditionally and then rescanned or photographed.

Drawn and painted in watercolor and gouache paint on site and in a studio setting based on the island of Lokrum off the coast of Dubrovnik, where imported Peacocks and hens were literally everywhere amongst the almost fantasy-like ruins and forested setting.
