Aloe Update

A few Aloe doodles on her relatively updated look. I started giving her face spines that protrude from the sides, but at the moment I'm unsure if they interfere with her contours and certain viewing angles too much.

Soft Paints, Rough Study

I have been nursing this slowly over the past couple weeks to experiment with some more painterly techniques just in Clip Studio. I miss the unique use of opacity and easily acquired textures in PS or the realistic brush emulation in Corel products, but I can't argue with the brush control this program has.
Ignore that her weight distribution is about make her tumble to the ground, this was based on a very rough sketch lol.

Recent Warmups

Hey y'all. I have been a bit lax on keeping my artist skills sharp outside of full projects, so I have been doing more observation based work to really start getting my memory going for pose again. Over time the lack of remembered reference really does a number on your ability to get certain perspectives and down really does show in spades I found out.

Alolan Pokemon Spots Part 2

It took a little extra time, but here is the finished Rockruff spot that will eventually used for con merch at some point, or just avatars. I also amended the previous Mareanie spot with a similar diamond shape for a solid bg for easier time making charms or stickers. Expect more down the line as I figure out my schedule on making stuff.

Rockruff Spot wip

I have been slowly working on this next pokemon spot as I plan on other projects atm. I may mix clip studio brushes with photoshop stuff for a more textured look this time.

Lil Mareanie

Experimenting with quick and simple digital spots for potential product decals such as stickers or cases of some kind. Top is just Clip Studio but emphasizes highlights more, and the bottom alt is Clip mixed with Photoshop textured brushes a bit for softer shading.
