Mischief Experiment: Cute Goth Model
Trying out this neat lil program called Mischief found here that has neat functions I haven't seen anywhere else. It has the function to indefinitely scale your work like a vector, but paint like in Photoshop, Sai, or Corel. The amount of tools is unfortunately minimal, but the basics to sketch, ink, and lay basic flats or values are all there and importing is easy.
First practice doodle using Mischief from a referenced source I unfortunately can't link because her site was shut down.

Inktober 20-21: A Friend and a Goblin
October has gone and past and so is the Inktober pen and ink themed drawing series. Most people I witnessed doing it dropped out weeks ago, so I'm surprised I managed to draw 21 of the 31 days I was free to due to other commitments.
Caricature portrait of a friend
Just a goblin lazing about.

Inktober #6-7 Genie Gal and Zombie Chick
A quick study that quickly turned into fan art for an adorable Gameboy series yet again, but the posing from the model was too superb to not use.

Curious Fox and the Forest Door
Been meaning to post this days ago but time has been escaping me lately. I found out how much I love gessoed surfaces for watercolor and gouache washes, all those years of acrylic didn't shake off it seems.
My one regret isn't trying a more daring form of lighting, but I'm happy with the amount of polish and color I used in the end.
The title and illustration reminds me of an aesop fable.

Kitten Kidnapping
Something silly from my sketchbook based on a friend's children' book pitch, though the kidnapping part is purely accidental on my part based on how I drew the yarn around her hands. Oh well.

Small Foxes Painting Progress
A small update on what I'm working on with a series of images: a concept sketch, a color study, and the final under-drawing on the actual final painting. Experimenting with canine forms, watercolor, and multi media, and the finished will be watercolor/ acrylic mixed media. The end product will hopefully be a starting point for a style guide for my own personal childrens book still being roughed out. (It involves ferrets, not foxes, but more on that later.)

Some of the more notable sketches done during a week long camping trip for the Boy Scout Troop I volunteer as an adult leader for. First couple are playful logos of the sub camp mascot we were under, and the bottom two are of the fantastic man made lake dead center in camp. The cyber eagle is just a cyber eagle, enjoy it.
